Special programs
The amazing 1.7 million-metropolis is a cosmopolitan and elegant city in the heart of Central Europe. The impressive reminders of the past, the intense cultural life, the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings and bathing palaces, the magnificent boulevards as well as the traditional coffee houses and cafes provide Budapest with its well-deserved title "Paris of the East".
We recommend this special sight-seeing tour especially to those who are interested in a somewhat more detailed guided tour.
We will explore most of the characteristic sights of Budapest in a relaxed way on two wheels. During our journey you will receive all the interesting information and if you like, we can also insert a short break with refreshing drinks!
This tour is very special because we leave the center of Budapest and also ride in the suburbs, past the old prefabricated buildings and industrial plants. This unique bike-route puts you right back in the 70's, where those days of the Communist government built "socialist" model cities.
Previously you had the choice of admiring our capital either on wheels or on board of a cruise ship. Opting for the riverride trip, you will not have to decide: RiverRide is a very special city tour: you see the sights of Budapest first driving through bustling streets, but then - accompanied by the silent cry of fellow passengers – cruise on the Danube river.
You can embrace Budapest and its surroundings from an altitude of 200-600 meters and take breathtaking images from a bird's eye view! . The flight takes place in the evening and lasts 30 minutes.
This program presents us the Hungarian capital at its best. At an altitude of about 300 meters, we have a magnificent view of the city. We fly over the Danube, the Budapest harbour, the Budapest downtown and enjoy the scenery of the most beautiful city of Hungary. Just lean back and enjoy the wonderful view!
Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Two million people are living on both banks of the Danube. On the right bank lies Buda and on the flat left bank lies Pest. Since it flows through the city center, sights lined up on both banks together, the cruise on board of a pleasure-boat is one of the most beautiful and varied experiences in the Hungarian capital.
The program offers a fantastic combination of sound and light on the Danube. One and a half hour cruise with live music by the illuminated capital with an excellent warm buffet-dinner, surrounded by the bright lights of the metropolis on the banks of the Danube.
We are happy to arrange for you tickets for classical concerts, opera, theater, exhibitions or to the Palace of Arts.
The Danube Bend offers the most beautiful view in the Hungarian Danube section. The river bends to the south from here. The area has witnessed many important events in the Middle Ages.
The charming town of Esztergom on the Danube Bend is the seat of the head of the Hungarian Catholic Church, the Archbishop of Esztergom. The castle was built in 972 AD where Saint Stephen, the first Hungarian king and founder of the Hungarian state was born.
Visegrád is famous for the palace of King Matthias, the great ruler of the Renaissance. This beautiful building complex with 350 rooms was a real wonder of its time with a red marble decorated fountain, and one of the most magnificent royal residences of that period. Archaeologists have excavated the Hercules Fountain from a 15-meter-thick layer of rubble, faithfully reconstructed and rebuilt.
The narrow streets, the seven church towers, the colorful houses, narrow lanes, two dozen museums and not the least, the omnipresent Mediterranean atmosphere makes Szentendre the most visited place in the Danube Bend.
Those visitors, who have already visited the town of Eger describe it as a "jewel box". It is one of the most beautiful baroque cities in the country. In the 10th century St. Stephen (997–1038), the first Christian king of Hungary, founded an Episcopal see in here.
The famous historic wine regions in Eger and its surroundings offer excellent red and white wines, which are stored and served in several hundred year-old wine cellars. The settlement of Szilvásvárad lies at the entrance to the beautiful Szalajka Valley, 30 km from Eger at the Western edge of the Bükk Mountains.
Pécs is the fifth largest city of Hungary, located on the slopes of the Mecsek mountains in the South-West of the country, close to its border with Croatia. Pécs was always a multicultural city where many cultural layers are encrusted melting different values of the history of two thousand years. Hungarians, Croatians and Swabians still live in peace together in economic and cultural polarity.
According to local legend, Veszprém was founded on seven hills and it was the favorite city of Queen Gisela, the wife of the first Hungarian king St. Stephen. For centuries, the queens of Hungary were crowned by the bishop of Veszprém.
